After much poking, prodding, and peer-pressure, I have started a blog.
This "latest" section will contain news. The blog will contain thoughts.
Thank you for your attention and update your bookmarks.

Within minutes of meeting a techie, they invariably ask: "what's your blog?" Like smoking cigarettes, it's a litmus test for coolness.
Label me a square.
I prefer succinct writing.* Empirically, blogging tends towards inanity and verbosity. Short, articulate entries require effort and, for now, I'd rather do things and not waste energy writing about them. (Though, if you're interested, my Projects page tends to be an accurate, if not obfuscated, accounting of my activities.)
In lieu of blogging, I've joined Twitter where I express myself in 140 characters or less.
Arguably, and a touch hypocritically, this is a blog post. I'll thank you kindly to ignore this fact. Though, you should note, my "blog" lacks content compared to the rest of this website.

Laura Fitton has introduced me to twitter. I think I've introduced a cataclysmic force in my life.
